NetSuite certification team has introduced 2 new exams in place of SuiteCloud Developer II certification. In an email to the NetSuite Certified Community, the certifications team announced that SuiteCloud Developer II will retire on February 28, 2023. 2 new certifications are getting launched: NetSuite Application Developer and NetSuite Web Services Developer. NetSuite is also going to remove the distinction between SuiteCloud Developer I and SuiteCloud Developer II.
The Application Developer exam covers SuiteCloud Platform tools to customize and extend NetSuite, including SuiteScript (2.1) and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
The Web Services Developer exam covers both Web Services: SuiteTalk SOAP and SuiteTalk REST Web Services.
You can achieve Full SuiteCloud Developer certification by earning both these certifications and the SuiteFoundation certification.
