The Challenge
The company was already using Jitterbit to gather the data from multiple saved searches in NetSuite and generate a text file, save it in NetSuite file cabinet. This process was taking around 4 hours to complete.
The Solution
The client reached out to NZR Solutions to help improve this process. This was the first project with the client.
The preferred solution is to use native NetSuite features to gather data rather than using Jitterbit or any other outside NetSuite. application.
The whole processed was changed to use SuiteScript instead of Jitterbit. Saved searches were already available and data was retrieved using the SuiteScript API.
The Outcome
As a result of implementing a NetSuite based solution, the time to generate the file was decreased from 4 hours to 5 minutes. The file was saved in file cabinet.
