Step 1: Decide which NetSuite certification is best for you:
For administrators, developers, consultants, and users, there are a total of 7 different NetSuite certifications available. The NetSuite certification website has access to all of these. Administrators and implementers are eligible for five of these credentials.
- SuiteFoundation: The basic and required certification for consultants, developers, and administrators.
- Administrator: Overseeing and improving the operation of the NetSuite application on a daily basis.
- SuiteCloud Developer: SuiteCloud Developer exam is no longer available and has been divided into 2 separate exams:
- Application Developer: Customize NetSuite using SuiteCloud Platform: SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteCloud Development Framework.
- Web Services Developer: SuiteTalk REST Web Services and SuiteTalk SOAP Web Services.
- ERP Consultant: NetSuite ERP implementation, configuration, and setup.
Additionally, end users can now choose between two new certifications:
- Financial User: Accounting and finance’s primary functions.
- SuiteAnalytics User: Training for users in report extraction, analytics, and business intelligence.
Step 2 – Training, studying, and practice
There are a number of resources available for anyone willing to take the certification. All of these resources are supplied by NetSuite. Step 3 – Documentation

There are different options you can select to take the exam, you can take it in person at one of the Kryterion exam centers, a NetSuite service provider. After you have finished the exam, you will get the results immediately. For all certifications, except financial user and SuiteAnalytics, an annual aptitude validation test is required to ensure you’re keeping on top of the field.

They each cost $250 for the first attempt and $150 for retakes.
